I AM INSPIRED by all of you who
have sent me positive feedback
Welcome. Here you will find out about some new astrological research into relationships.
What do the birth charts of people who are happily married look like?
How do they compare with the charts of the divorced?
Is there a difference in their wedding charts?
How does what we already know about astrology help us understand what makes a relationship work?
How does what we already know about two sets of real life relationships help us to improve our astrology?
Is there any hope if your chart looks more like the ‘wrong’ sort?
The first collection of answers is offered now, based principally on Juno and Jupiter as you have never seen them before.
Research is continuing.
Sneak Peeks from Binary Stars....
It is a reasonable bet that the subject of human relationships has consumed more ink, celluloid and guitar strings than were ever spent in disseminating the wisdom of all the philosophers and the biography of all the generals who have shaped the world. When human beings are left with nothing but the dog and hard liquor to keep them warm at night they tend not to be entirely consoled by an evening in with an exceptionally well-argued thesis, elegantly analysed and with helpful footnotes, or The Blues would not have been invented.
NEPTUNE, MARS, VENUS & rhe FLAGGING RELATIONSHIP, or a bit of reassurance when your man is not playing away but has gone off his game.
Stage one is don't panic. Men who have lost their desire for sex are far more numerous than folklore suggests. The problem is not only fairly common but seems to be on the increase. You can be sure there are plenty of other people out there secretly worried that if their relationship is not actually dead a surgeon may be required to revive it.
Aspects with Inferior Planets, (and Neptune in the charts of cheats).
A specific group of charts is examined here but the results highlight a situation that is true for all charts of any type. We will see that once the Sun is already in aspect with a planet there is significantly less chance that the planet can also aspect Mercury. The other inferior planet, Venus, is similarly restricted by its tie to the Sun but to less extent. The consequences of this are significant when evaluating a group of charts.
Western Astrology and the Extra-Marital Affair. Neptune in the Charts of Cheats.
When the astrologer casts an eye over several hundred charts with the sole aim of seeing how many contain a specific item of scholarly importance it is often the case that something less polite jostles for attention along the way. There is some mechanism, deep in the human brain, that automatically makes this distracting phenomenon more powerful when the batch contains a sprinkling of natives the practitioner knows to have had an affair (or four).......
Applying and Separating Aspects in Meeting Charts. Dignity & Debility, Part 3. A More Complex Web.
Dignity and Debility, Part 2 Applying the Theory.
A lady we will call Joy was summoned to a meeting because she had messed up. Her genuine mistake could technically be called fraud. Unfortunately the organisation was about to put out a call for voluntary redundancies. History had shown that this is a time when infringements can grow as large as necessary to reduce the number of people who actually have to be paid off when they go. Joy's supervisor was implicated in the error, equally at risk in the downsizing and might be conducting the disciplinary meeting. The meeting chart was read in advance to see how bad Joy's situation might be and if she had any tactics available to her.
Dignity & Debility at Work, how strong are you in that meeting?
Astrologers all know how useful it would be to have data for The Boss, Company Spymaster, Head of Grovelling, Chief of Knives, World's Most Promoted Skiver and Blundering Halfwit in Charge of Dangerous Substances all nicely gift wrapped on a platter. Even in cases where all of the above could be covered by just two charts it can take a lot of lurking by the coffee maker before you get closer than knowing one of them had a party in the holidays. For those who would like to move a bit faster I offer an alternative means, which might be seen as a hybrid of natal and horary.....In the best case scenario I have so far seen where the knowledge obtained by this method was effectively used the result was a considerable amount of hard cash.
Jupiter, Juno, Venus in Synastry & Relationships. Jolie Pitt Part 3, Brad and Angelina making it work.
....Venus in her pure form is not made for long relationships. Venus in her pure form is actually an oxymoron. Her real character has been continuously ignored because The Tradition has removed any other option to rule or stand as a symbol for the human pair bond. ...Venus was called the goddess of Love when astrologers and their clients were all men and it was a euphemism for sex. Modern women have turned the same idea on its head and made her into the queen of romance. Neither will build a marriage without a lot of help.
Jolie-Pitt, Relationship Astrology; Part 2 Angelina and Billy Bob.
Angelina Jolie starts out with a very promising configuration (and her chart looks good too). Juno is a few minutes from a sextile with Jupiter. .... Unfortunately I have a growing body of evidence that although a sextile is generally positive it appears inappropriate for a bond as strong as marriage needs to be. It also appears that fire and air work less often than earth and water...
Jolie-Pitt, Relationship Astrology; Part 1 Brad and Jennifer.
Astrologers generally analyse relationships using synastry. When the standard approach is employed for Brad and Angelina the results seem to me to fall very short of convincing. This article examines three additional factors that help illuminate why their partnership is working.
Jupiter, Rahu in the Tropical & Sidereal Zodiac, two views of a Husband
While researching for my book Binary Stars I concluded that the best astrological symbol for Husband is neither the Sun nor the seventh ruler but Jupiter. I thought the idea might be found a bit radical and take people a while to accept. Only after it was published did I discover that practitoners in India had reached the same conclusion a long time ago.
Synastry, his Sun to her Moon in the Happy and Divorced. Part 3 in a series of articles designed to test some of our theories Available now.
Astrologers gererally consider, even in modern times, that the characteristics of the natal Sun will usually be more obviously expressed and visible in the life of a man than a woman. He will frequently then be drawn to a woman described by his Moon. A woman more often exhibits her natal Moon and looks for a man to play her Sun. This has led to a belief that good marriages are made when his Sun is in good aspect to her Moon.
A Test of Moon, Moon Synastry in Relationships. Part 2 in a Series.
This test implies that, however much astrologers think of the Moon as the primary significator of the feeling nature, it is not the place to seek the kind of love that exists till death us do part. It seems that the stuff they put at the end of movies can only be ignited by the fire of the Sun and that something of its glow can be kept alive, in real life, for decades. Once seen there is the realisation that we have been told about Love, in myth and poetry, for centuries and should have realised the astrological implications long ago.
Part 1: A Test of Sun Sun Synnastry in relationships.
The old parchments told us that trines between a man’s Sun and the benefics bestow every kind of blessing, while an opposition or square with a malefic, debilitated and conjunct a dodgy star, brings forth monstrous children and death by decapitation in a shipwreck. They mollified us with the news that a little modification by a Venus sextile might reduce the sentence to a life shortened by attraction to women with loose morals and bad soup. A few decades back we decided we were grown up, threw all this stuff away sniggering and grafted ourselves to psychology. This did not change the world so the tides have turned once more to face the glories of Greece and the wisdom of Al Tazimuth. At this point it seems appropriate to start testing a few ideas from both camps.
LENNON, McCARTNEY - MAKING MARRIAGE WORK.
On March 12th 1989 Paul McCartney married Linda Eastman. Eight days later John Lennon married Yoko Ono. Paul and Linda are generally accepted to have been particularly happy. As far as it is possible to judge Yoko appears to have bonded with John so powerfully that she has freely chosen to continue her life with him at her side ‘in spirit’ for decades after his death.
